About the FLARM F4 carbine

FLARM F4 is an advanced carbine weighing less than 3 kg. Unlike visually similar carbines based on the AR-15 platform, the FLARM F4 utilizes an improved short-stroke gas piston system. This enhancement prevents combustion residues from entering the weapon's interior (a drawback of AR-15 direct impingement systems). Reducing heat buildup and fouling in the bolt group increases reliability, extends uninterrupted operation, and minimizes cleaning time and stress on key components.

The receiver of the FLARM F4 rifled carbine is forged from anodized 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. The upper receiver and handguard feature a Picatinny rail for mounting optical and red dot sights, as well as other accessories. A Picatinny rail is also present on the lower part of the handguard, allowing for the installation of additional accessories such as bipods or foregrips.

The quick-detach aluminum handguard has a slim profile and an M-LOK attachment system along its entire length for mounting tactical accessories. The controls are ambidextrous, enabling quick transition between right- and left-handed use, ensuring comfortable handling for both right- and left-handed shooters.The Timney Triggers single-stage trigger mechanism provides a short and smooth pull. The enlarged trigger guard allows for comfortable operation while wearing gloves.

The FLARM F4 is available with 11.5-inch and 15-inch barrels. This model features a free-floated barrel with a carbon-nitrided bore and a 1:8 twist rate. A muzzle brake/compensator (MBC) is installed on the barrel.
